The Oman Society of Anesthesia and Critical Care (OSACC) was founded in 2006, and is a non-profit medical society dedicated to promoting excellence and consistency in the practice of anesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine.
OSACC supports and promotes the advancement of knowledge in the discipline of anesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine, more so in the promotion of the highest standards of care of patients and their families through education, research, and professional development.

OSACC continuously endeavors to organize and coordinate regional and international educational meetings/congresses for all its members through its partnership with regional and international societies
OSACC continues to foster research & education and provide clinical recommendations and guidelines focusing on patient safety, quality care conforming to international standards
With colleagues in most regions of the Sultanate, OSACC aims to represents all professional components and activities in the fields of anesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine.
